Party Treats!

Little Confectionista has been baking up a storm lately, trying out new recipes and doing something new with tried and true favorites. Here's a look at what she's been up to in her kitchen:

a fun assortment of cookies, perfect for tea parties, birthdays, or any kind of girlie occasion! The lips, teapot, and crown use sparkling sugar accents. The strapless dress is accented with silver, and the regular dress is decorated with a paisley design pressed into the icing.

some delicious little pie pops with lemon cream and apple filling. Perfect when you want a bite of pie but don't want a whole piece!

some tasty two bite hazelnut brownies made with nutella. Delicious and petite!

Time for Tea

The Confectionistas love to bake cookies! Little did we know the almond sugar cookies we are becoming famous for are called by another name around these parts--Tennessee Tea Cake Cookies. We Confectionistas think our cookies are tasty and fun, no matter what name they go by! These were whipped up for a local bride to send home with her out of town guests.

The Confectionistas have been hard at work lately on some lovely wedding treats. A friend of ours is getting married and wanted to provide her guests with the very best favors money can buy--cookies! The Confectionistas whipped up 200 of these babies and decorated them all by hand. They turned out so cute and we couldn't be prouder!

Momma Confectionista is a creative genius just like her daughter, so when the time came to bring baked goods in for a work function, what did she do? She didn't just make cookies, she made the most adorable purse cookies ever! 4th of July is just around the corner...can you believe it? And of course no celebration of our nation's independence is complete without a picnic, fireworks, and dessert! These festive cookies are a great way to solve the old "what am I going to bring to the get together" problem, and they hold up a lot better than potato salad!

Momma Confectionista is officially obsessed with ladybugs. First it was the cake, now it's the cookies..who knows what's next! She made these sweet little ladies into the happiest gals around! These are perfect for any occasion--birthday, Mother's Day, or as a thank you gift!

We Confectionistas love it when we get to try out new ideas! We had Father's Day bouquets in sports designs, but a friend of ours said her dad was a race fan...what could we come up with for that? Why, a green and checkered flag and tires of course! This bouquet is perfect for Dad, Brother, Grandpa, or Hubby!

This time of year is all about graduations--Kindergarten all the way through college! Celebrate with a cake designed to match your school's colors and mascot, or cookies that taste as good as throwing your cap in the air feels.
