Tropical Treat

The summer is upon us in full swing, and what better way to celebrate a summer bridal shower than with a beach theme cupcake? These were made for a dear friend of Little Confectionista who is getting married, ahem, MAUI'd, in Hawaii. The sand is graham cracker crumbs and the beach towel is fondant. Congrats Lindsey and Derek!

Wild Watermelon!

This corset cake was made for a bachelorette party and the hostess wanted to incorporate the shades of 'watermelon and kelly green with zebra.' This is definitely a wilder side of watermelon, and we love it!

Scrollin' Along

This cake Mama Confectionista created is a striking contrast of colors that looks so fancy! The scroll work was designed to match a bridal shower invitation and the host requested the monogram in the middle.

Let Them Eat Cake! (or maybe just a cookie that looks like one)

The Confectionistas have been hard at work lately on some lovely wedding treats. A friend of ours is getting married and wanted to provide her guests with the very best favors money can buy--cookies! The Confectionistas whipped up 200 of these babies and decorated them all by hand. They turned out so cute and we couldn't be prouder!

It's In The Bag

Momma Confectionista is a creative genius just like her daughter, so when the time came to bring baked goods in for a work function, what did she do? She didn't just make cookies, she made the most adorable purse cookies ever! The bright colors and different designs are perfect for bridal showers, birthdays, mother's day, or any girlie party you want to have. Chanel has nothing on us!

One Last Fling Before The Ring!

If you want to throw a great bridal shower or bachelorette party, you've got to have cake! here are some of the pretty and provocative cakes we've made for bridal parties:

One of our more popular cakes has been the bachelorette corset--they're fun and can be made in a variety of designs! They can also be made out of cake or rice krispies treats for those ladies who are watching their waistline pre-wedding.

These corsets both feature cornelli lace over fondant with fondant accents.

This little number is made of rice krispies treats and covered in fondant with fondant accents. It was made to look like the lingerie given to the bride at her shower.

Something different for an engagement party or a bachelorette party is the zebra motif. You can serve a regular cake or have some cute cupcakes ready for single servings on your final night of singlehood!

This lovely creation is perfect for a bridal shower and can be done in the wedding colors--the blue here is very striking, but this would look good with any hue in the background!

This sweet umbrella really captures the meaning of a bridal "shower"--and would be beautiful with any color of flowers. It's sweet in more ways than one!

Of course we have something for the bachelors too! This was a much tastier version of one groom's favorite frosty libation--and it was ok to drive after eating!
For those bachelors who have a close relationship with Gentleman Jack, we can also do an edible version of his favorite spirit!
